NEW TAMPA PLAYERS
Founder
Host Site
Founded in 2002, NTP creates quality theatre by and for people of all abilities and backgrounds. Our goal is to be the leading example of excellence, diversity, and inclusion in our community
NTP is also home to the Tampa Chapter of Penguin Project. Penguin Project is a theater program for children and young adults with special needs. Each year Penguin Project puts on a junior length musical. Each role is performed by a child or young adult with special needs. Each young artist is matched with a peer mentor who works with the young artist through the entire production process. Although the peer mentor is responsible for knowing his/her young artists’ lines, choreography, music, and blocking, the peer mentor is there to encourage the young artist and build a friendship that lasts beyond the final curtain.

CREATIVE CLAY
Exhibiiton
The artists at Creative Clay stumbled upon something quite incredible recently. They discovered that people really connect with paintings and drawings of iconic buildings and landmarks from their hometowns. Almost everyone has a connection to a place that takes them back to a moment in time. When a person hangs one of these pieces of art in their home it acts as a vessel returning them to that enjoyable memory or story. Motivated by this discovery everyone started going to town so-to-speak. Join Creative Clay for an exhibit of Tampa Bay's most well-established locales.
